30 second TV spot for the Creative Cities Summit in Lexington, Kentucky April 7-9, 2010. Speakers include Richard Florida, Charles Landry, Rebecca Ryan, Ben Self, Tonya Surman, Mike Lydon and Bill Strickland.

This multi-disciplinary conference will bring together leading thinkers and practitioners who are changing cities and communities all over the world. Areas of focus include talent attraction & retention, innovation, developing entrepreneurship, community design and civic engagement.

Mike Lydon, founding principal of The Street Plans Collaborative and co-author of The Smart Growth Manual will speak at the Creative Cities Summit in Lexington.  Lydon will lead a session on Innovating the Built Environment which will look at how our built environment impacts our economic vitality, our social capital, our environment and even our health.

Lydon is also recognized as an expert on developing a bike culture and will be part of a panel called Taming the Car:  Reclaiming Our Cities from the Tyranny of the Transportation Department.
